自1992年起，爱尔兰颁布了众多关于专利保护的法案，其中最重要和被引用最多的包括：《2000年版权以及相关权利法案》（Copyright and Related Rights 2000）及《2013年版权以及相关法规》（Copyright and Related Rights Regulations 2013），《1996年商标法》（1996 TradeMark Act），《2016年欧盟商标代理法规》（European Communitie（s Trade Mark Agents）Regulations2016），《1992年专利法以及2012修订案》（Patents Act 1992 and 2012 Amendments）。
